The branch is holding a trip to Bank Top Brewery on Wednesday 12 June.

The event will start at 7.30pm at the brewery, on Ashworth Lane, Bank Top, and the cost will be £10.00 per person.

Bus times to and from Bolton will be on this page nearer the date.

Meet at the Crown at 1pm to present an award to the pub for 15 years in GBG.

Move on to Blackedge Brewery for a tour of the new premises.

Move on to the Original Bay Horse and Bowling Green, finish at the V&A at 4.30 for the Pub of the Year presentation.

There will be a charge of approximately £6 (dependent on numbers) for the brewery trip section of the day – please let Gill Smart know if you will be attending.

The 9th Forever Bury Beer Festival is taking place on the above dates – opening hours are 11.30am to 11.15pm.

There will be 54 ales from around the county, along with a cider bar and a bottle bar.

Hot food will be available, and there is ample parking for cars and coaches.

We are holding our First Ever inter Branch Cricket match on Saturday 27^th July 2013

 To be held at Broughton Cricket and Rugby Club,Yew Tree Road, M7 2HL

 Each branch to submit a team of, up to 11 players

20 ball game of 4 overs of 5 balls in a Knockout Tournament

 We will have a Hog Roast and a Bar B Q set up, and great local beers on hand pull (everything at cost)

 This is a Fun Day for all of the family

 Nearest pub is the GBG listed Star in Higher Broughton
